Sailing in the summer months can be idyllic. Light winds, warm sunshine and clear blue skies as far as the eye can see. This summer in Cornwall we have been blessed with an excellent spell of stunning weather, but that doesn’t mean once autumn rolls around, sailing is no longer an option.
We have lots of ways to extend the sailing season so you can enjoy getting out on the water throughout the year.
As the cooler weather blows in, it’s time to dig out the layers to ensure your charter experience is enjoyable for everyone on board. The team at Bowman Yacht Charters can help advise you about the essential items you will need to bring, depending on your chosen charter and destination.
Our 3 comfortable yachts, Yemaya of Helford, Tivoli and Annie-Jo have plenty of space down below should you feel the chill of the wind, and our skippered charters mean you can leave all the sailing and navigation up to us, so you can relax and stay cosy as we sail to your destination.
We can also provide lots of delicious, warming food and drink, including teas, coffees, hot chocolates and soups, so you, your family and friends can stay toasty on deck, or enjoy a shared meal in the galley.
Getting out on the water as the temperature drops can be a wonderful experience, and a great opportunity to explore Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly out of season. We can help you build the perfect package to suit you, from day trips to longer stays, and even give some great tips about places to visit, including our favourite waterside pubs and restaurants where we can drop anchor so you can enjoy some excellent local dishes.
If you would like to find out more about arranging a sailing charter in Cornwall later in the season, give the Bowman Yacht Charters team a call.
