Idle Rocks

Located in stunning St Mawes, the Idle Rocks serves exceptional food that’s not to be missed, with a gorgeous sun terrace boasting front-seat views over the harbour. Awarded the 2018 Best Seafood Restaurant of the Year, the Idle Rocks uses the very best fresh local produce to create delicious dishes giving you a true taste of Cornwall.

Ferryboat Inn

The Ferryboat Inn on the Helford Passage offers one of the most beautiful views to eat by. They have a ‘farm to table’ philosophy, providing delicious food from fresh, local produce. Serving outstanding oysters from their fishery, it’s a proper local spot you’ll want to return to again and again.

Shipwrights Arms

 

The Shipwrights Arms is nestled right on the Helford and offers comfortable dining and really tasty, local food. With an outdoor pizza oven wafting delicious smells of hand stretched, wood-fired pizzas down the slip as you moor up, it’s a real treat for the senses for all foodies.

Oliver’s

Based in the stunning southern town of Falmouth, off the cobbled high street is Oliver’s. Boasting a Michelin recommendation and two AA rosettes with reviews and recommendations to boot, this small restaurant sure is mighty in terms of culinary excellence. Offering exceptional modern British food, using exclusively local fresh produce, it’s fine dining at it’s very best.

Lunch: 12pm – 1:30pm last orders Tuesday – Saturday
Dinner: 7pm – 9pm last orders Tuesday Saturday

The Wheelhouse

The tiny Wheelhouse, also in picturesque Falmouth, is a real hidden gem. Offering simply divine seafood that is caught locally and daily, it’s as fresh as can be, with much of their produce caught mere metres away. If you’re after a proper foodie experience with a great atmosphere, this is it. They’re often booked up weeks if not months in advance – so be quick and book ahead of time!
