The Cornwall Offshore Group Series (COGS) involves a series of seven coastal races and three offshore yacht races throughout the summer, while the Tilley Endurables Falmouth Classics sees 3 days of racing and parading around the bay and the Carrick Roads on 22nd – 24th June, culminating in a wonderful Parade of Sail and Power on the Sunday. Then there are the numerous regattas celebrated at the various yacht clubs up and down the coast, including St Mawes and Flushing.

After setting sail from Falmouth aboard Suhaili in 1968, Sir Robin Knox-Johnson was the only competitor to complete the first Sunday Times Golden Globe race to circumnavigate the world. The parade will see Sir Robin aboard his original yacht Suhaili, joined by Sir Francis Chichester’s Gypsy Moth IV and Sir Alex Rose’s Lively Lady, as well as the entire fleet of the 2018 Golden Globe Race. It is sure to be an exciting, memorable event that you can really feel part of aboard one of our charter yachts.
