A great spot beside the water; moor up and come ashore for a delicious Sunday Roast at the Ferry Boat Inn – you can even get a table outside to soak up the views. Check the specials board for the roast options, including a great veggie choice of roasted squash and stuffing and options for the little sailors… be sure to leave room pudding!
The Working Boat – Falmouth
Another smashing spot beside the sea, The Working Boat serves food until 9pm on Sundays, with roasts available until they run out! Enjoy home-made gravy and seasonal vegetables alongside your choice of beef, pork, chicken or nut roast. They also offer sunday roast baguettes, served with roast potatoes and a jug of gravy – lovely!
Pandora Inn – Mylor
Leave the car at home & visit this thatched creek-side pub by boat, foot or bicycle. Their tasty Sunday carvery is very popular, so do book a table. Choose from two meats or a vegetarian options, alongside roast potatoes, yorkshire, veg and gravy. Why not wash it down with one of their real ales, or a glass of Cornish beer or Cornish cider?
The Norway Inn – Perranarworthal, nr Truro
Conveniently located on the Falmouth to Truro road, the Norway Inn offers an award-winning Sunday Roast, freshly carved to request by the chefs, plus all the trimmings. Vegetarians and vegans are catered for, and for meat-eaters there’s Ethrington’s rare striploin, cornish topside of beef or turkey to choose from.
