As the nights begin to draw in, there are lots of fun autumn activities to look forward to. One of our favourites is Guy Fawkes Night, or Fireworks Night, and watching fireworks from the water is an extra special treat.
By chartering a yacht to watch a firework display, you’ll escape the crowds, won’t have to worry about parking and can enjoy a magical evening with your family or friends.
Cornwall is a wonderful place to watch fireworks from the water, as there are events right beside the sea all over the county. Many people may think that November isn’t a good time to be out on the water, but with the right clothes (think layers!), and a cup of something hot whipped up by your skipper, you’ll be ready to sit back, relax and enjoy the show.
One of our favourites takes place in the beautiful coastal village of St Mawes, on Friday 8th November this year. It was originally planned for November 1st, but had to be rescheduled due to the weather.
Starting at 7pm, it’s a fantastic evening for all the family, with the fireworks set off from a barge out on the water. The village is sure to be busy so definitely a good one to watch from the comfort of your own charter!
